“I’m already starting to get it”
The harmonica always intimidated me because I knew there were 20 possible notes to hit on that small little instrument. But over the years I would hear people play and it kept calling me. When I was a kid, I had a traumatic experience that deeply impacted the way I teach harmonica. When I was 8 years old, the piano teacher I loved unexpectedly died. I was crushed. But because I was having a great time with the piano, my mom and dad found me a new teacher.

When I first started teaching harmonica 20 years ago I was really bummed to find out that most of the instructional harmonica methods just don't work well for beginners and intermediates.

I quickly ran through your harmonica instruction and I have to say you have changed the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) method of learning to KISSS (Keep It Super Simple Stupid!).
I have been tootin' around on a harmonica for over 25 years, but I have never taken it seriously enough to dedicate the time and effort to learn how to play the blues harp. Recently, I have decided to commit to that effort of learning to play.
