I, too, have seen this video and watched it several times. I bought your course last October (2009) and have a lot of fun with it. I’m still not getting the blues sounds I want, but can get through most songs with tabs. Bending still troubles me, but I will get better. I’ve even got multiple (7) Special 20’s in different keys. You have a great course, I use it, I recommend it. Your follow-up communications are also greatly appreciated. Keep up the good work.

Just managed to keep up with Jesu Joy Of Man’s Desiring on a 16 chromatic. Although at 87 my puff with the glissando is a bit suspect!

    Hi JP,

I just picked up the harp a little over a mo ago. I’m nearing 64 & love my harp ( Special 20-C). I did not know the harp was capable of making the sounds that Buddy Green made. Thank you for your free daily tips. I hope to get your DVD’s some day. I’ll never be a JP Allen or Buddy Green, but I will be a good harp player one day, thanks to you.

    Hi, JP …

Thanks for the Emails. Very informative and much appreciated.

I saw the Buddy Greene vidio a few months ago and it just blew me away. I just turned 72 this month and have been playing (fooling around) with the harp since I was 9 years old. I bought your course and am progressing nicely. Now … if I can only learn to over-blow.

Love the Buddy Greene video! I’ll always keep a special place for the late great Terry McMillan, though. Both are great!
I HAD two chromatics, one being a 64 Chromonica my Dad had owned since his young days in the Army Air Corps and the other a Super Chromonica I bought in my early 20’s. Both were stolen. What a loss! I have a Lee Oskar in A, but it’s not what I really wish I had. When I’m off this lay off (someday !), I’ll buy something nice…I hope. Your website has given me many tips to help me learn correctly. Thanks a lot. When I can, I’ll buy the course!

i’m not jokeing, i’m from Poland, and when i found him, again i back to learn harmonica. I had it since i was 12, but did not played a lot. anyway, my grandfather plaing all his life, and i tell you something – old generation, from my country, they played awesome as well, and they doesn’t know, how hard tehnique they are playing.

simply playing, that is all. like Buddy Greene said in his page, he played a lot from ear, not notes. Like my old generation :D
