Wow such a helpful article. It will be much more helpful if a picture was put out for each type of Harmonica though.

Hello,
I`m 13 years old and and my brother has given me what i belive to be a tremolo harmonica, it has 2 rows and 16 holes on each row and it doesn`t have any switches at all. I was just reading youre page when i noticed you said that the tremolos are limited in many ways, could you please tell me what the are? Also a long shot i know but i dont know what key the harmonica is in, or can it be played in any key i fancy.
Thankyou very much for the write up its been most useful.

Man, the article has been of great help!. I've had an harmonica for a jice lot of time and had managed to get some sounds and even tunes from it, but had no idea of how :P (if you gave me sheet music, i'd been clueless about what to do with it)
First time I get something interesting for my experienced-newbie level. but I have a question. I know it's quite personal and one self knows better of this, but waht do you think is best, metal, wood or plastic? I have a chinese tremolo harmonica with a nice metal sound, but it's the only one I know face-to-face. Thanks man for the page.
