I just started this course and am really enjoying it so far. I had purchased the bundle right before Xmas and received the 2012 bundle also. I like the new course, it is broke up in smaller sections which makes it a lot easier when you can start right where you left off.

Hi all .. I just got these lessons (less the month ago) and I'm really enjoying them. I've learned a lot already and I've been trying to fix the things I've been doing wrong for so many years. I'm currently on lesson 52. I take each lesson twice and do many practice sessions. I have a history of breathing problems. JP is right about the harmonica when he speaks about it being helpful for one's lungs. There is even a special medical harmonica that has been designed by .. JP Schaman, MD. It has more than twice the number of chords. I don't have one .. yet, but I bet it would be great for the heart & lungs. Certainly would be great for Chordal jamming. These lessons are great. I find them to be far more helpful then the others I've taken. I was beginning to think I was harmonica / musically hopeless. HH... --

I ordered JP's course on 1/22/2012. I ordered the download version and the physical version. Does anybody have any idea when the physical version will come. I assume I have the 2012 download version but I am not sure.
Also one of my bonuses was book about 60 riffs, tricks etc. In it keeps talking about DVD's and CD's that the book is a reference to. Are they part of physical version I am waiting on or are they something I can buy seperately.
Thank you

@DOC :: Hey Doc.. don't worry. U will receive the DVDs soon. They have started shipping the same. I guess u should get the things in 4-6 weeks. Or may be u can check with the support guys at support.harmonica.com.. they are awesome.. they will help you for sure. And as you asked do u need to buy some extra things.. then i guess no. JPs DVD is set is the complete bundle. (i assume that u have ordered the complete DVD set+Online Course and not Only the online course). Definitely for learning purpose u can buy other stuffs also but if you are a beginner you have lots of stuffs to do in JPs lesson. So have fun... Happy Harping. -Jay

I got the add-on new video lessons and got up to lesson 45 before my old special 20 got damaged. I've just treated myself to a Suzuki Manji in the key of C as its replacement, & ive really enjoyed getting back into them again - I've started from scratch (lesson 1) with the new manji, & im up to lesson 15 already (I've only had the new harmonica for a week!) If anyone has any doubts - don't worry - JUST GET THEM you'll be so happy that you did the lessons are so relaxed & the background info that JP gives to the lessons is so easy to understand. Tony.

I am an experienced guitar player who wanted to get into playing the harp also. I've had many music lessons on several instruments in my life. I liked JP's style from what I had seen on You Tube and decided to take the plunge for the online lessons. Let me tell you, if you're on the fence about it, the lessons are awesome. I'm blasting through them fast and my playing is improving quickly. JP doesn't screw around teaching you to play row your boat, he teaches you solid fundamentals and technique to get you off the ground and playing well as fast as possible. I'm really impressed and so glad that I got the lessons. If you're a serious beginner and want to get up to speed in a way that's fast and fun, you can't go wrong with these lessons.
As a side note, I always swore I'd never buy anything from a "sales letter" style web page. This is the first time I've done so. I'm so used to having my BS detector on full blast when I see that "sales letter" style. If that turns you off too, don't let it dissuade you. The lessons are no BS, they're well worth the asking. The information and recommendations in the sales letter are actually dead on. I haven't even looked at the bonus stuff yet, the videos are so great they're keeping me busy.

ditto................I had music lessons when I was a kid....................accordion for a number of years.....read music, etc.......... all because my parents wanted to learn how to play....lol.......I played well but stopped as soon as I could.................... This I'm doing for myself.............. It's a joy..............It's fun.......It makes me happy..........and I can take it as far as I want, as fast or as slow as I want..............The lessons are terrific.........

gaiamina,
I had the exact same experience as a kid- my folks wanted me to learn the accordion, I didn't get good, but quit as soon as I could. As an adult, I wished I could play something and tried the harp. Inspired by Charlie Musselwite. I'm only a beginner on the harp, don't have JP's lessons. I liked the stuff on YouTube, and the positive reports here make me want to buy the lessons. As soon as I can convince my better half, that is.

Thank you for this email regarding JP's Lessons for 2012. I have been thinking about signing up for JP's Lessons, just have never gotton around to it. After reading your email Today, I have decided now is the time. As soon as I finish writing you, I will go to JP's site, and order the lessons. Your email has given me the energy to go ahead and invest in improving my harmonica playing. Thanks again for your email. John Edward Akers
