Has anyone here ever tried the egg static microphone.  If so what did you think of it?

Nope, all I've heard is the sound of crickets.

I have the egg static mic and like it, but the only other mic I've played through is a vocal mic. The egg static def sounds better. If you email the guy before you buy it he can put a volume pot in it for like 5 or 10 bucks. I'll try to get some recordings and post em up. I think I payed $25 bucks for mine so its a hard deal to beat.
