Has anybody tried one of the Peavey Transtube amps for harp?  Yes, it's S.S., but I kinda like my other Peaveys and I think I might like to try transistors again.

I think I might be able to get one for $100.

Oh, I tried it out.  Transister mush with lot's of built in effects, but not as bad as the solid state Marshall I looked at.

I gig w/ a Peavy Transtube Envoy 110, but I use it for my Telecaster and electric mandolin...don't think I've ever tried using it w/ my harmonicas, but ya got me to wondering, so when the wife wakes up, I'm going to give it a try.  Cool
