Why David “Rock Bottom” York?

David “Rock Bottom” York (born in Indiana, 1948 – 2001) was a revered front man based in West Central Florida, where he played the blues to a mostly middle-aged black audience. His bands ultimately became clearinghouses for Florida blues players. He toured Europe with his bands and was especially popular in Scandinavia.
