Review Summary:

The Suzuki Promaster Valved Gold is quite similar to the Suzuki Promaster Valved. It has the same basic construction, including a valve system to improve the airtight quality of the mouth harp. It also has the same great sound as the Suzuki Promaster Valved. There are only two major differences between the two. The first is that the Gold is gold plated, giving it a nicer appearance. However, the gold plating can rub off over time. The second is the cost. The Gold is about twice the price of the regular Promaster Valved. So, unless you are a collector, it makes more sense to avoid the gold and save your money.

Pros

  • Unique valve system makes it easy to bend on both blow and draw notes
  • Takes very little air to play

Cons

  • About double the cost of the Suzuki Promaster Valved, but same general construction and sound quality
