With diatonic harmonicas, if you have all 12 keys then you can play along with any song that you hear, anywhere: on the radio, on CDs, DVDs, you name it - how cool is that!!
Hohner Piedmont Blues Harmonica Pack This super value includes 7 harmonicas with Hohner-quality brass reeds, aluminum plates, precision molded combs, and a plush-lined nylon case. 7Keys: A, Bb, C, D, E, F, and G.
REVIEW: To get this many harmonicas, and a case, there has to be a "catch", right? Yes, and no. Yes, the "catch" is that cover plates are made of textured plastic - they look like a normal harmonica, but when you pick them up, they hardly weigh anything. Then, surprise, they actually sound pretty good when you play them - a little harder to bend than, say, a Special 20, but the tone is not too bad considering the plastic - must be because they have quality reed plates.
Recommendation: This may seem crazy at first: Buy the set for the case - the case is cool. It is well-designed, lightweight, makes it easy to grab a harmonica - even has a velcro flap for when you want to close it but not zip it up. Good alternative to the bigger harmonica cases. Then, put your better harmonicas in the case so you can carry them around easier, and keep the Piedmonts for your "beater" harmonicas. Another idea: buy one set just for the case and do like we just said, and buy another case/set and keep it in the car to have something to look forward to here and there during your day. Reason: The more you practice, the faster you get better. Having more harmonicas around makes it a lot more convenient to practice!
