I read your article promoting your harmonica lessons and saved it because I think I want to give it a try. I hope to be able to play dueling banjos with a guitar-playing friend and possibly another friend on the banjo, by August. I need to purchase a harmonica then get with the proper lessons. I played the violin many years ago and have been in several singing groups so I have a basic understanding of music. I want a harmonica that can play in several keyes so am leaning toward a Chromatic. I want a good instrument in the $50 to $100 range. So – what harmonica would you recommend and should I go for your basic instruction course or would you have another suggestion?
    Thanks – Jim

Hey Jim, I only teach diatonic, not chromatic. If you decide to go with the diatonic harmonica, I recommend my new lessons, Happy Harpin’, and the Hohner Special 20. jp
