Review Summary:

The Suzuki Orchestral Ensemble chord harmonica comes in both 96-hole and 192-hole versions. The 96 plays 24 chords, while the 192 plays 48 chords. Both versions are clearly marked with the chord names. So, beginners can easily figure out how to play. However, most beginners won't want to spend the money on these incredible mouth harps, which are really meant for professional use. Each one has double reeds and produces a beautiful sound. In fact, you can even use them to create a sound similar to a trio. So, they are definitely must-have harmonicas for professional musicians that plan to dedicate their time to concert play.

Pros

  • Excellent for professional play
  • Fantastic sound quality

Cons

  • The price will prevent most beginning and intermediate players from playing this instrument
