The Hohner Comet is quite an unusual harp. It consists of two rows of holes and 40 brass reeds, which is relatively normal. The most unusual thing about this harmonica is actually its shape. Instead of having a straight, rectangular shape, the Hohner Comet's body is rounded, almost like a crescent moon or a banana. That definitely makes it a harmonica for more advanced players. The feeling of playing it will definitely take some getting used to. Another issue with this harmonica is that the reed plates are connected to the comb with nails, not screws. So, do-it-yourself reed adjustment will be no easy task.
