Review Summary:
The Hohner Marine Band 364 is a quality instrument, just like the Marine Band 1896. However, the 1896 only has 20 reeds. The 364 has 24 reeds, giving it a better note range. The 364, like many other Hohner models, has stainless steel covers and brass reed plates. It also has a wood comb. Unlike the 1896, the 364 is easy to take apart and adjust. However, it's also a little less sturdy. Since it has 12 holes instead of 10, it's a little different to hold, as well. It takes some getting used to, but the tone is excellent for solo acts.
Pros
- Easy to adjust reeds
- Nice note range
Cons
- Not as sturdy as the Marine Band 1896
