Rod Piazza, Harmonica Playlist

Rod Piazza is a monster blues harmonica player and master of the chromatic harp. I hope you enjoy the playlist I created, below! Rod’s inspirations include Little Walter and George Smith, each for different reasons… “I took what I could learn from Walter and George. From Walter it was technique and control of the instrument. From George I learned the strong attack, stage presence, and tonal quality. I tried to apply all of that to the music that I liked to listen to as well as the stuff they did.” If you want to learn a little more about Rod’s style of playing check out Michael Rubin’s write-up on Rod on this page here (scroll down the page a bit)
