Song facts: “What A Wonderful World” was first offered to Tony Bennett, but he turned it down. Initially, the song wasn’t a hit in the US because the head of ABC records didn’t like it and so didn’t play it. However it was a major hit in the UK, hitting the number-one spot in the charts and becoming the biggest-selling single of 1968.

Harmonica type: diatonic

Louis Armstrong’s version is in the key of F, so you’d need an F harmonica to play along with the recording

I see them bloom for me and you

And I think to myself

What a wonderful world

Are also on the faces

Saying, how do you do?

They’re really saying, I love you
